At AlloCiné we like to play with movie posters by removing part of their titles. For example, a few weeks ago we introduced a quiz in which you had to find deleted numbers, for example “XX Cloverfield Lane” or “L’Attaque du métro XXX”.
Another quiz offers you to guess which years are gone with titles like “XXXX A Space Odyssey”, “Blade Runner XXXX” or even “Summer XX”. And on the third, this time the clocks disappeared from the posters of movies like “Le XXXX pour Paris” or “XXX pour Yuma”.
Today, these are the colors you’ll have to find, and you have to admit, there’s no shortage of examples of movies with color in the title. A few quick examples, one per decade, to make sure we’re in the game before launch.
- 1980s: Luc Besson’s The Big Blue, about the rivalry between two free divers, played by Jean Reno and Jean-Marc Barry.
- 90s: Men in Black trilogy with two agents, J and K (Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones), who are responsible for regulating the presence of aliens on Earth.
- 2000s: The Green Line, Frank Darabont’s adaptation of the Stephen King story with Tom Hanks.
- 2010s: Green Lantern, a film from the DC Comics universe starring Ryan Reynolds.
Now it’s your turn to play, trying to find those ten colors of movie titles, with three sentences each time. Can you reach 10/10?
