Consisting of six episodes, Dear Little opens with a woman and her young daughter escaping from the basement where they have been locked. When the victims are taken to the hospital for observation, a fascinating investigation begins for the authorities. It’s a race against time to find the culprit and save the little boy who is being held captive.
Without saying much, the investigation finds its true conclusion at the end of the last muscle-bound episode. However, could a second season see the light of day? Nothing less than sure. Dear Little was created as a mini-series, a program that does not need any continuation.
Of course, if successful, Netflix could completely change its mind, but then it would be necessary to part with the original novel written by Romy Haussmann, who was never offered a sequel to the bestseller.
