Through thick and thin, Elements it gradually exceeded box office expectations. After becoming the highest-grossing Hollywood original film released in theaters since the start of the pandemic, the film is now also the biggest debut of 2023 on Disney+.
Elements is considered a resilient film, as before obtaining successful titles, it suffered a decline in distribution, occupying the position of Pixar’s worst release in the United States since the first History of the toyin 1995.
The vast majority of Pixar films gross $50 million or more at previews. However, in its first weekend Elements it had a box office gross of $29.6 million (R$141.8 million).
