If dogs and cats are engaged in a relentless battle to be officially declared the favorite pets of the French, in the field of cinema, it seems that the winner is decided beyond doubt. Indeed, if we could meet some memorable cats in certain films (Inside Llewin Davis, Alien, Diamonds on the Couch…), dogs clearly steal the show on the big screen. Therefore, it is logical that we have already dedicated several quizzes to them.
For example, last May we asked about dogs that appeared in 80s movies, which are eight dogs to recognize. In the first picture, we saw a dog alone in the parking lot at night. It was just a little warm-up, where you clearly recognized Einstein, Doc’s guinea pig dog from Back to the Future, the first living being to board a DeLorean and experience time travel.
The next image showed what appeared to be a malformed dog suspended in the air, completely garlanded. Here again, many of you found the correct answer, recognizing one of the many gremlin pranks in Joe Dante’s first film, which didn’t hesitate to attack poor Barney.
As the quiz progressed, the answers became less and less obvious, and only 19% of you answered the last question correctly. The picture shows a dog upside down on the kitchen ceiling. Was it Ghostbusters 2, Poltergeist or Creatures from Dreams? That last sentence was the correct answer, this film by John Hughes, in which two teenagers create chaos at home after bringing the woman of their dreams to life thanks to their computer.
