Santos played again this Thursday, at CT Rei Pelé, after the victory against Bahia, in the Brasileirão. Aiming for the direct duel against Vasco, Peixe trained in two halves.
For the match, Santos will have Marcelo Fernandes available on an interim basis. Peixe is still looking for a coach on the market to help him stay among the elite of Brazilian football.

Looking to get out of the relegation zone, Santos may once again have to deal with the absence of Mendoza, who is recovering from a right calf strain. Rodrigo Fernández, however, serves his suspension and strengthens the team.
The match against Vasco is scheduled for October 1st at 4pm (Brasilia time), in Vila Belmirom, with fans after the STJD granted the suspension effect. In 17th place, Santos has 24 points, one less than Bahia, which opens the Z4 of the Brasileirão.
