A hit on Netflix, the Virgin River series already has fans eager to know when the second part of season five will premiere, making it available in early September.
Created by Sue Tenney and starring actors Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson, the production combines drama and romance and has won over Brazilians since it launched in 2019.
The first season begins by telling the story of nurse Melinda, also known as Mel. To recover after a turbulent divorce, she accepts a job offer at a Northern California hospital in the town of Virgin River.
Twelve episodes make up the fifth season, ten are already on the streaming platform and the last two chapters will be released by the end of the year.
Chapters 11 and 12 are respectively titled “The More We Marry”, The More We Are, and “Santa Claus”, Paternal Christmas, and will conclude this season by resolving the characters’ problems in a Christmas atmosphere with the end-of-year festivities.
These last episodes are highly anticipated because, in the first part of this fifth season, there is a time jump in the story, in the tenth episode four months pass and questions arise yet to be revealed.
The good thing is that viewers won’t have to wait long, Netflix has reported that the second part of the fifth season of Virgin River will be released on November 30.
To the delight of many, it is worth noting that this is not the end of the Mel and Jack series, the presentation of the sixth season is scheduled for mid-2024.
