In the final episode, people begin to notice the change in Min-Ju’s behavior, claiming that she has gone back to being the “old Min-Ju”. After class, she works up the courage to talk to Si-Heon, but he knows she’s not Jun-Hee and asks her to stop staring at him.
Heartbroken, Min-Ju decides that being killed will be the only way to become who she truly wanted to be. In-Gyu realizes something is wrong while she is on the roof talking to Jun-Hee, and with a lip reading she realizes something is wrong and she goes to find Si-Heon so the two of them can look for it.
Aware that Chan-Yeong intends to kill her, she follows him into the abandoned building, passively accepting his sad end. With Chan-hui back in his body, Min-Ju tries to force him to take her life, but, frightened, he runs away. Jun-Hee desperately tries to change her mind, but Min-Ju has made up her mind. In-Gyu comes to her and she asks him to kill her but he refuses her, and ends up declaring himself to her in an unsuccessful attempt to save her from herself, but eventually she jumps off the building.

Now, the explained ending is that Jun-Hee manages to go back in time once again, almost falling off the building, but In-Gyu ultimately catches her in time, thus preventing Min-Ju’s death. Si-Heon and Jun-Hee enjoy their last day together as she no longer intends to interfere in Min-Ju’s life, and at Jun-Hee’s request, In-Gyu destroys the cassette and player. As a result, all memories of the events that led them to that point are erased and their lives take an unexpected turn.
Min-Ju still remembers Jun-Hee’s words from their last conversation but believes it is just a dream, however he helps her overcome her fears and allow people to get closer to her.
Years pass and Si-Heon, now older, ends up meeting Jun-Hee on a bus, finally keeping his word that he would find her anywhere.
