For many film and TV fans, Hayley Atwell is known as Peggy Carter, one of the greatest heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, the fan favorite actress will also be known as Grace in next year Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1. Not much has been revealed about the mystery character yet, but from the BTS photos we’ve seen, it looks like the star will be doing her fair share of stunts. And luckily for us, she provides some details on the stunts she will perform, even hinting at one of her who sees her “handcuffed” to co-star Tom Cruise.
Peggy Carter is certainly more than fearsome and intelligent, but Mission Impossible‘s Grace sounds like something else. Hayley Atwell recently appeared at Awesome Con 2022 (via Fandom in the foreground ), where he left some details about the role he plays in the next two MYSELF Movie . While discussing the character, he explained that he did stunts in the seventh episode for sequences involving a moving train, a car, etc. Plus, what he’s apparently doing with Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt seems particularly wild:
It is a joy to play with. She is mischievous, playful and defends herself with [Ethan] and there’s an element, a kind of comic element, that’s great, that we haven’t seen much in Mission before, it has a different tone. And in terms of stunts, I learned to drift in a racing car … I did a somersault on a bridge, I jumped off a … I jumped backwards from a moving train, uh, a lot of uphill running in high heels … while handcuffed to mr cruise. Uh, that’s all I’m going to say.
So what I take away from this mockery is that writer / director Christopher McQuarrie is a crazy genius (which I mean in the best possible way). The first trailer for in esteem part one showed hints of some of the aforementioned stunts, but most of the shots featured Ethan Hunt. Now I’m ready to see more what Grace brings to the core team .
I also bet that the sequence that apparently sees the characters of Hayley Atwell and Tom Cruise handcuffed together must be particularly interesting. Based on the comments, it looks like one of Cruise’s now iconic free run scenes will morph into a two-handed scene. With them performing stunts like these, it’s easy to see why the two stars have apparently grown so close: and presumably dated before the split .
Romantic rumors aside, it really looks like the cast and crew had a great time working on the film. The former Marvel member, in particular, shared hilarious videos and behind-the-scenes photos. before the end of the film last September. Among the interesting information he shared was a snapshot of a ridiculous dress Yes a glimpse of stunts in a wild car mentioned in the quotes above.
All in all, it looks like Hayley Atwell had a lot of fun shooting the latest film Mission Impossible movie. It looks like she and her team have done a lot of hard work, but she is sure to pay off when fans finally gasp as they watch her amazing exploits on the big screen.
