For the role of Aurélie, the chemist who will do everything to save her son, France 2 called Audrey Fleuro. The actor, who needs no introduction, is best known for playing the eccentric Morgan Alvaro in the detective series HPI.

For this occasion, he reunited with screenwriter Frédéric Crivin and director Jean-Philippe Amar, with whom he worked on Un Village Français. In turn, Thierry Neviwick (Sam, La maison d’en face) slips into the shoes of commander Max Vernet, who will help Aurel infiltrate.

Finally, the role of the mysterious Jesus is played by Sumay Cardenas, a young actor who makes his first role here. Charlie Pauletti and Mattis Piron play two intelligent orphans, whom Jesus’ hero takes under his wing.

Is it worth checking out?

For Infiltré(e), Audrey Flero leaves Morgan Alvaro’s colorful persona at HPI to step in as Aurelie, a police chemist and mother of a teenager struggling to live with the rest of her life after her death. Her son Jeremy’s father overdosed.

However, her daily routine is disrupted when she discovers that her cocaine-addicted son owes a huge amount of money to a dealer. To get out of this dangerous situation, he will try to steal drugs that will be destroyed by the police.

Of course, Orel is about to get caught, and to avoid jail, he makes a deal with Commissioner Max Vernet. He agrees to infiltrate a network of young and dangerous traffickers to help him investigate UBH, a new and highly dangerous synthetic drug. Then he gets close to the charismatic and mysterious Jesus, head of the Marseille network…

While the miniseries takes a while to get going, with the first two episodes mostly serving up various character problems, Infiltrated remains an effective thriller that relies on a duo of actors who do excellent work.

The alchemy between Audrey Fleuro and Thierry Nevik is undeniable and allows the fiction to acquire depth. With Infiltré(e), Frédéric Crivin, the screenwriter, reaches his destiny and offers characters far from the caricatures of the detective genre.

Whether it’s a commissar, a chemist, or a “bad” drug addict, they’re imperfect, attractive, and multi-dimensional. The audience is also very quickly drawn to Jesus, played impeccably by Sumay Cárdenas, a young man who finds himself at the head of Marseille’s network and whose disturbing story resonates with current events.

It’s a shame, though, that Aurel’s character, who gives the series its title, doesn’t make an appearance until episode 4. Choosing to destabilize the scenario removed by the quality of the scenarios.
