Paramount Pictures has postponed the release of One Love, biopic about Bob Marley. Scheduled for January 12, 2024, the film will hit the big screen only on February 14, as reported by Deadline.
In addition to Ben-Adir in the lead role, the production also stars Lashana Lynch as Rita Marley, the musician’s wife.
Having the blessing of Ziggy and family to become stewards of the ship was meaningful to me because I knew I would have access to things that are not public knowledge: real conversations and memories of people who were there. Ziggy was young, but he was still there. And when you’re 11 or 12, that’s the most impressionable time. You remember a lot about those times.
Reinaldo Marcus Green, director of the film, told EW.
Bob Marley is the most famous and legendary singer in the history of reggae. His songs, which have marked generations, speak of love, peace and spirituality, having been immortalized over the years. The musician died in 1981, at the age of 36, a victim of aggressive skin cancer.
