Barbie, directed by Greta Gerwig and co-written with Noah Baumbach, continues to attract audiences after ten consecutive weeks on international screens. Last weekend, according to the Collider, the film grossed approximately $3.4 million. Global revenue since launch is estimated at $1.427 billion.
The film’s release on IMAX screens, with extra footage and behind-the-scenes looks at the film’s production, likely boosted those numbers. The new release gives fans a look at the making of the “I’m Just Ken” sequel, starring Ryan Gosling, as well as other scenes from the film.
Digital format for Cinema
Barbie We continue with everything at the cinema even with the film in streaming! The production is now available in the catalogs of Google Play, iTunes, Microsoft Store, Claro TV+ and Prime Video Store, with prices ranging from R$49.90 for rental to R$69.90 for digital purchase.
According to David Zaslav, president of Warner Bros. Discovery, the film is expected to debut on HBO Max in 2023, probably in October. An exact date has not yet been revealed.
Barbie It received a rating of not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
