Today is World Dream Day, that parallel and unconscious existence we all experience every night when we paradoxically fall asleep. A strange world that can create many memorable scenes in movies. Last year we already dedicated a quiz to this topic and offered you nine dream scenes in the cinema to recognize.
For example, one of the first pictures showed a young girl in her bath, apparently sleeping. After that, we got to recognize Nancy Thompson in one of the most famous scenes of the 80s horror movie, when the famous bogeyman Freddy Krueger decides to visit Nancy in his bathroom.
Another question offered a seemingly serene image of children and parents on a playground with swings and slides, against the backdrop of the tall buildings of downtown Los Angeles. Artificial and ephemeral happiness, because a few seconds later an atomic bomb exploded and destroyed the entire city. A vision of the apocalypse from Sarah Connor’s nightmare in James Cameron’s Terminator sequel.
Finally, a final, rather surprising image showed Julianne Moore dressed as a Viking, accompanied by young women wearing bowling pins, on top of a black-and-white closet. Skittles can get you on track because it really was the psychedelic dream of the dude in The Big Lebowski.
