Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Wednesday, September 27, 2023 [SPOILERS]

The beginning of trouble for Julie

Julie and Sylvain are still in the hammam in Mr. Lejean’s room. They wait until he is asleep before leaving the suite. Then Julie cautiously returns home and lies down next to Alex. Early in the morning, he has trouble getting out. Alex apologizes for falling asleep. He wanted to wait, but fell from exhaustion.

At the hotel, Mr. Lejeune told the owner of the establishment that valuable watches had been stolen from his suite’s safe. Pretty sure he locked the safe last night. The hotel owner immediately contacted the police. Ian was entrusted with the investigation.

Lt. Cross goes to the hotel to investigate. Mr. Lejeune estimates the value of the stolen watches at more than 300,000 euros. They were her best pieces, she thought the hotel safe would be a safe place. Ian asks him for invoices to substantiate the amounts and also a copy of the insurance contracts.

The owner of the hotel informed the police that the video surveillance system in the institution was disabled the day before due to a technical problem. However, he checked who had the badge to open the suite.

Besides the customer, there was only an evening service attendant, and the bartender a little later at around 10:20 p.m. Ian finds this strange because the customer has not yet returned at that time. That’s why he couldn’t order anything.

The boss suggests that he made a mistake when he made a cocktail for a customer. Ian wants to hear from both people. He then discovers that the bartender is none other than Julie, Alex’s partner, and that she is not there today.

Ian goes to Julie. He informs the young woman that he is coming to see her after the robbery at the hotel last night. Ian wants to know why he went to this room. Julie didn’t know the theft was going on and she doesn’t take it lightly.

He makes Ian believe that he lost the badge yesterday afternoon and that someone must have used it without his knowledge. Ian asks why he didn’t report. Julie admits she forgot and feels stupid. He put it on the bar and thinks someone might have stolen it at this point. Ian investigates the reason and asks the young woman to come to the police station to make a statement.

After Lt. Cross leaves, Julie immediately calls Sylvain to tell him about the theft. Sylvain tries to calm him down. They didn’t steal anything, they shouldn’t panic. Julie wonders if she should have told the truth. Sylvain replies that if his boss found out, he would be fired.

During the conversation, Sylvain realizes that Julie’s companion is a police officer. The young woman is afraid that all this will come to Alex’s ears. He tries to calm himself down. Due to the secrecy of the instructions, Ian is not allowed to tell his friend anything.

She thinks it’s better to tell him the truth and that’s why she needs Sylvain to come with her to the police station to testify with her. The latter agrees to accompany him. They meet the next morning in the hotel lobby. Julie is relieved.

Sylvain had to go to L Cosmétiques the next day to repair the accounting software. He tells Laurent to take care of him immediately so he can get back on the road.

New couple soon?

At AL Cosmetiques, Enrique discusses stocking with Karin when they run into Leonor, who has just arrived. Enrique breaks the conversation to go see her. He is invited to dinner that evening. He accepts without hesitation.

Mark calls Leonor during the day. He was supposed to bring Louis to theater training, but he has a last-minute interview to do that he can’t postpone. He asks Leonore if she can take care of him, but she isn’t available either. He has a personal meeting that cannot be postponed. Mark makes it and wishes him a good evening.

In the warehouse, Enrique is angry on the phone. The fork broke and the big order must go out today. He called maintenance, but no one came to fix it.

So you have to load all the boxes manually which will take many hours. Enrique wants to cancel the meeting with Leonor, but Karin offers to handle the order with other employees. Embarrassed, Enrique accepts and thanks him.

Unfortunately, he forgot to make a reservation for the restaurant, which is now fully booked. Leonor then invites her to dinner at her place to make up for her mistake. Over a glass of wine, Leonor exudes confidence towards Enrique. He places his hand on her thigh and then they share a long kiss.
