Garbage: We know who will play Loana in the series adapted from Loft Story

Last June, Prime Video announced at its back-to-school press conference that it was working on a mini-series that would go behind the scenes of the reality TV phenomenon Loft Story.

Titled Garbage , this fiction co-produced by Alexia Laroche-Joubert follows a group of ambitious young producers who find themselves at the helm of a show. They are not even 35 years old and they have to come up with everything together. But the show quickly turns into a social scandal and shakes all the convictions of these pioneers of reality television.

Created by Mathieu Rouman and Nicolas Slomka, who previously worked on Family Business, and co-written by Jean-Alain Laban (Panthers), Trash will be directed by Louis Farge, who recently won the award for Best 52-Minute Series The Next. at the La Rochelle Festival of Fiction.

While the filming of the series began this Monday, September 25 in Paris and its region, our colleagues Parisian The cast of this 6-episode fiction has just been revealed.

To play the role of Isabelle, a character directly inspired by Alexia Laroche-Joubert, who at the time was one of the protagonists of this crazy adventure, the play called Anaide Rosam, a young actress seen in La Cour des Miracles. For his part, César Domboi, the French actor best known for playing Fergus in Outlander, will step into the shoes of Raphael, a member of the production.

Young actor Sami Outalbal, who rose to global fame as Rahim in the Netflix series Sex Education, whose 4th season was recently released on the platform, will be Karim, the casting manager.

Finally, Le Parisien also revealed the name of the actress who will step into the shoes of Loana, the big winner of the first edition of Loft Story, alongside Christophe.

Marie Colombe will be Loana

And the production choice is rather unusual, as it is Marie Collomb, an actress who shone in the mini-series Laetitia and the film Les Magnétiques. If she is physically distant from Loana, there is no doubt that her interpretation will make us forget this detail.

For the series co-produced by Screenline Productions and 27 Tribe and Georgia Poivre, Clara Levy, Alexia Laroche-Joubert and Frédéric Lusato, the Loft footage was re-created at the Cité du cinéma in Saint-Denis. A 6-episode miniseries will be released on Prime Video in 2024.
