Retired military police officer Anderson Carlos Teixeira, 52 years old, suspected of the crime, was not present at the session. He obtained a preventive habeas corpus in court. Now the case is in the courts and the deputy explains what should be done.
“The Assembly Prosecutor’s Office will provide the appropriate information to the Court of Justice so that the decision can be reviewed. Additionally, the State Attorney’s Office is seeking to reverse the decision that allowed the suspect to leave the state“, he detailed.
During the session the CPI presented the report carried out by the Technical-Scientific Police on the animal’s body. From the document it appears that the death was caused by a gunshot, fired from above.
Remember the case
The crime occurred on September 9 in Praia do Morro, in Guarapari. The man shot when the dog had already moved away. It all happened in front of three children, one of whom was a newborn.
