Duel against Red Bull Bragantino

-We are fighting for the top of the Brazilian championship, Palmeiras have always given their best. It’s a difficult match away from home, but we are preparing well for all the matches, said Murilo.

Good result in Argentina

-I play in Argentina, at their home, with a full stadium, screaming fans, and we tolerated it very well. Boca is a qualified team and with everyone’s commitment we managed to hold on. Now the return leg is at home, we already have that mentality. It’s time to rest to play a great game on Thursday, said the Palmeiras defender.

Good defensive phase

In away games, especially knockout games, it is essential that the defense provides this support. Gómez and I managed to accomplish a very important mission: not conceding a goal, to give the attackers confidence. Thinking about the return leg, we want to get the result at home, so it was very important not to concede a goal. We have to do it again at home to be able to come out with the ranking – concluded number 26.

Palmeiras will visit Red Bull Bragantino this Sunday evening (01), at 9.30pm (Brasilia time), at the Nabi Abi chedid stadium, for the 25th round of the Brazilian championship.
