In 1993, a young Mason Gamble announced himself to the general public in a family comedy in the vein of Maman, I Missed the Plane, alongside Dennis LaMallie. But what happened to Mason Gamble after his 90s baby stardom?
After starring in Denis la Malice at the age of seven, Mason Gamble disappeared from the radar until 1996. We then see him shine in an episode of Urgences and appear in the credits of the police comedy Agent Zero, played by the inestimable Leslie Nielsen.
But it was in 1997 that Mason Gamble really returned to the limelight as a young Vincent Freeman in the SF classic Welcome to Gattaca (the adult Vincent is played by Ethan Hawke). The following year, a new role that is important to the American in the credits of Wes Anderson’s Rushmore.
Mason Gamble in the movie “Rushmore”:
After playing Tim Robbins’ son on Arlington Road, Mason Gamble is one of the stars of Keith Brasher, a series that aired on CBS in 2001. His last role dates back to 2010: it was Golf in the Kingdom, a film in which he plays, but which unfortunately goes completely unnoticed.
After this ? After leaving the sets, Mason Gamble studied dentistry and then marine biology. In 2020, the American, now 37, was in his second year of a PhD in environmental science and engineering.
