Britney Spears' new husband's ex says he 'hit the jackpot' with Sam Asghari, though he was also warned not to

Despite a brief hiatus from an ex-husband who tried to ruin the evening, Britney Spears finally got married to longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari on June 9 at their Southern California home. The images from BTS’s fairy tales of the wedding were quite spectacular, as was the star-studded guest list that included Paris Hilton and Madonna. Interestingly, her new husband’s ex-girlfriend previously assumed the pop singer may have “hit the jackpot” with Asghari, even though she herself had apparently been warned of him at one point.

When the couple first got engaged in September, TMZ He met his old love: the international model and singer Mayra Veronica. She then joked that Sam Asghari had “finally hit the jackpot”, but it was actually Britney Spears who won the jackpot because of the 28-year-old personal trainer “charming and sweet” attitude. But the comment reflected fan speculation that she might have been with the Grammy winner for her money, the alleged reason why Spears was not allowed to marry or have children with him while she was in her tutelage.

And since the marriage, Marya Veronica has opened up even more, with TMZ reporting in the interview that her management in 2015 “warned her about Sam.” However, the ex seems to be of the opinion that it was just a control situation on the business side of things, not with her ex of hers, as in the case of the singer, saying:

Well, when I went out with Sam, I was in a bit of the same situation as Britney. I was controlled by my management and whatever. He just came on the scene as I was trying to separate myself from all of this. And I think this really helped. He is very understanding; she is very supportive, so I think that was what she needed at the time.

I think Sam would make a great husband. He is not one who cheats or flirts. He is very dedicated, very supportive. So I think I only see good for them, to be honest with you.

When pressed further about her ex partner’s perceived intentions with her new wife, Marya Veronica tentatively said she didn’t think he was “inherently hurting” her. She explained that even if the two were to go their separate ways at some point, he would still care about the “Circus” entertainer and be there for her because apparently that’s just who he is to her.

Indeed, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari hope to solidify their union more permanently, with a baby of their own. Unfortunately, in May they announced that they had an abortion after a few weeks. Eventually, however, Asghari said they still hope to have a baby in the future when the time is right.

For what it’s worth, Marya Veronica thinks Sam Asghari will be a “great father” when that happens to the couple. With all these wonderful reviews, it seems like Britney Spears has found something special in Asghari.
