Marvel has released several posters and a new commercial for “Thor: Love and Thunder” to reinforce the fact that tickets for the film have been on sale since last week. Interestingly, the preview recycles an idea from the previous film in the franchise, when Thor decided to form a new team of heroes: “The Revendingers”, remember?
The current team would be formed by Thor (Chris Hemswork), the Guardians of the Galaxy, Jane (not Jodie) Foster (Natalie Portman), Valkyrie (Tessa Tompson) and the hero’s new best friend, Korg (Taika Waititi), who team up to face the villain Gor, played by Christian Bale (who was once Batman).
With the exception of the Guardians, the characters in the film illustrate the poster collection. In addition to the above, the individual posters highlight Zeus, played by Russell Crowe (formerly Gladiator), and a goat and a goat (!!).
Written and directed by Taika Waititi (“Thor: Ragnarok”), the film will be released on July 7 in Brazil, one day before its US release.
