Thirty years after its big TV debut, Power Rangers hasn’t aged (almost) one bit. It must be said that armored superheroes have found a great trick to cross the centuries, because the casting of the series is regularly updated with the arrival of new artists.
The brand new iteration of the saga called Cosmic Fury is no exception to this rule, despite the return of some iconic characters such as Billy Cranston from the very first version of the Power Ranger series, but also a villain as well as an iconic one: Lord Zedd.
In this way, the presence of characters from the old series allows for a connection between previous generations of fans and today’s viewers, proving that all fans of the Power Rangers universe ultimately form the same community of enthusiasts.
The new generation of Power Rangers also found its audience, as the series became one of the most watched series on Netflix in France just days after its release on Friday, September 29.
