Galaxy Tab A9 has not been announced, but can now be purchased in Guatemala


Samsung hasn’t introduced the Galaxy Tab A9 to the world, but the company’s store in Guatemala confirms features and local pricing

A SAMSUNG it just slipped once again before another product launch. After anticipating the official details of the Galaxy S23FE before the official presentation, now it’s the turn of the Galaxy Tab A9 have its main features confirmed before the announcement.



The device appears on the Samsung Guatemala page in gray with support for 4G connectivity, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and a suggested price of 1,499 quetzales, or about 990 reais.

The Galaxy Tab A9 can be purchased with free shipping for anyone living in the country right now, even without the company having officially announced the device.

The tablet looks different than Galaxy Tab A8ditching the sleeker screen with symmetrical edges to offer thinner sides and thicker top and bottom regions, which should at least help when using it in landscape.

The new generation of tablets appears to have a metal and/or plastic finish on the back cover and only has one rear camera and one front camera.

The published data sheet indicates that the model will have an 8.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz, underlining that it is an entry-level tablet, for basic use.

The Galaxy Tab A9 is expected to feature a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, a low-cost platform used in smartphones like the A24 Galaxy, Little M5, Realme 10 and other.

It is possible that the tablet will arrive in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 4G versions with the same configuration of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.

More information regarding the Tab A9 should appear in the coming days, as the model was already expected to arrive in some countries this Thursday (5). Details about the launch in Brazil are still unknown.
