The new Disney+ series, Ahsoka, follows the story of Ahsoka Tano, a much-loved character from the Star Wars universe. He made his first appearance there in 2008 when the animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars was released, with the character as Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan, before he joined the dark side of the force and transformed into Darth Vader.
In the same year the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars debuted (from 2008 to 2020, containing 7 seasons), followed by Star Wars Rebels (from 2014 to 2017, with 4 seasons) and Star Wars: Stories of the Jedi (2022, with 6 episodes).
In addition to the animated series, Ahsoka also appeared in two other productions of the franchise: The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. In fact, this new series that bears her name is considered a spin-off of The Mandalorian.
The Ahsoka series was created by Dave Filoni and features Rosario Dawson (MIB – Men in Black II), David Tennant (Doctor Who), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), Natasha Liu Bordizzo (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon : The Green Legend), Wes Chathan (The Expanse), Ray Stevenson (Thor), Ivanna Sakhno (Let it Snow), among other actors in the main cast.
The story takes place after the fall of the Empire, when former Jedi Ahsoka Tano searches for Grand Admiral Thraw, leader of what remains of the Galactic Empire.

In total, Ahsoka has 8 episodes, all now available on Disney+, lasting approximately 40 minutes to 1 hour each. The first two dropped on August 22nd and will release one episode per week, every Wednesday, until all episodes of the series are completed, with the last one of the season dropping this Wednesday (4/10).
The series has been well received by critics, has a critic approval rating of 87% on Rotten Tomatoes, as well as an audience approval rating of 71%, has a rating of 7.9 on IMDb, and a score of 68 on Metacritic.
