A man was attacked with a machete on Friday night (6), in Farroupilha, in Serra Gaúcha. According to reports, the victim was shot in the head at a restaurant, near ERS-122.
According to the Military Brigade (BM), the incident occurred around 8.45pm. The victim was with a family member when some individuals entered the establishment and, after an argument, stabbed the man in the head with a machete. After the attack, the attackers fled.
The attacked man was taken by a relative to São Carlos Hospital to receive treatment. No details on the motives for the attack have been provided so far.
