The American quickly beat his rival in the main battle of this Saturday’s event (7)
This Saturday (7), after a week’s break, the UFC returned to organize its events, once again in Las Vegas. In the main duel of the evening, two lightweights, Bobby Green and Grant Dawson, will face each other.
And the fight lasted 33 seconds. Green managed to quickly defeat his rival and was able to celebrate his second consecutive victory in the organization and his third fight without losing (including a no-contest).
Fight
Those expecting a fight saw the “King” seek control of the Octagon from the start and, immediately, land a left hand that rocked Dawson, one of the biggest prospects in the UFC at 70 kg. Halfway to the end of the fight.
Soon, Green went up as his rival ended up on the octagon floor. Trying to use ground and pound, the fighter struck until Keith Peterson stopped the fight and declared the victory of the king.

Mateus Bocão loses his second UFC fight
The only Brazilian present at Saturday’s event, Mateus Bocão faced Nate Maness as his rival to recover from the defeat in his debut in the organization, in January, against Javid Basharat.
The Contender Series graduate tried to tamp down the fight from the start. In the first moments of the fight, the Maranhão native had great chances to seek victory, twice attempting to finish with a heel hook.
None of them worked and Maness began to take advantage of the opportunity to ground and beat the Brazilian with precision. Bocão was unable to resist the American’s pressure and ended up suffering his second defeat in Ultimate
