Lupine on Netflix: This little bug from the first episode that we probably didn’t notice

Omar Sy returns to Netflix in a big way this Thursday, October 5, with the release of the third season of Lupine, more than two years after the second installment.

In this new episode, which may not be the last, Assanne Diop, now on the run after the events at the Théâtre de Châtelet, decides to return to Paris to offer his family an escape from France.

But before he disappears once and for all, he decides to pull one last trick by stealing the precious Black Pearl. Unfortunately, the gentleman robber is thrown into a twist of events and sees a ghost from his past sabotage his well-laid plan. He has no choice but to fake his own death in order to commit a new crime.

A mistake in the first episode

If, after its release in 2021, Lupin wanted to distinguish the city of Paris by bringing Netflix subscribers to the four corners of the capital, the production sometimes makes small mistakes, as in the first episode of season 3.

A small detail from the opening scene in the Paris metro seemed to escape the teams. At the very beginning of the episode, we see Asan entering the subway through the Trocadero station, which is served by lines 6 and 9. Two lines that are not yet automated and therefore still driven by drivers.

However, when Asan is on the platform, callers fail to notice that the character is on an automated line, and more precisely on line 14, which is color coded dark purple. A line that does not pass through the Trocadero.

And when Lupine goes to the next station, after he manages to steal the Black Pearl, he finds himself at the Pyramids station, which is at 14, not 6 and 9. An unusual detail, which, if it remained unnoticed by many viewers, probably caught the eye of Parisians.
