The Brazilian team will play the tournament from October 20

Former Palmeiras striker Gabriel Veron has been left out of Brazil’s squad for the Pan American Games. The athlete, injured last weekend in a match against Porto B, was replaced by Gabriel Pirani, of DC United. The announcement was made by CBF, this Tuesday (10).
Veron suffered a thigh problem and left the match against Torreense at half-time last Sunday (9). Pirani arrived at Fluminense at the beginning of the year, on loan from Santos, but left the team months later, heading to DC United. In the North American club the midfielder has 10 games and one goal under his belt.
Pirani, 21, will perform at the Granja Comary this Wednesday (11). The Pan American Championships in Chile start on October 20th and end on November 5th. In group B, the Brazilian team will face the United States, Colombia and Honduras.
