Castlevania Season 2: Nocturne will definitely see the light of day! A few days after its triumphant launch, the animated series has been officially picked up for an additional season by the platform. An adaptation of the famous video game franchise of the same name, Castlevania: Nocturne also functions as a prequel to the Castlevania series, one of the top-rated Netflix anime by internet users of AlloCiné (discover its audience rating).
Since its release on September 29, this new Netflix production has entered the top 10 most-watched series on the platform, with a total of 4.4 million views worldwide (or 16.8 million hours watched).
Set during the French Revolution, Castlevania: Nocturne follows the story of Richter Belmont, heir to a famous demon hunting clan. The latter is on the trail of a being who claims to be the “vampire messiah”.
