About the book, the master Giulio Medaglia commented:
“Já raou a Liberdade” establishes, on the basis of unpublished and in-depth studies, the correct position of D. Pedro I in our history, not only as a libertarian prince, but as a musician of high talent and full mastery of compositional craftsmanship. It also reveals to us the density and technical quality of this biographical study, practiced by one of the greatest instrumentalists and connoisseurs of Brazilian historical and musical reality, Rosana Lanzelotte.”
