A more beautiful life on TF1: discover the new Place du Mistral and its iconic bar is transformed!

As previously announced, the France 3 series Plus belle la vie is preparing to move to TF1. So the iconic series will resume filming at the end of October, to hit the front page in early 2024! As Marie Réache (Babeth) already teased, a lot of changes are expected in this sequel…

“Plus belle la vie” is back soon

Indeed, the most iconic place of fiction, which is none other than the Place du Mistral with its emblematic bar, will get a completely new look! On Wednesday, October 11, the Minister of Culture Rima Abdul-Malaki visited the legendary studios in the company of some actors (Jerome Bertin (Patrick), Lola Maroi (Ariane), Sylvie Flap (Mirta) and others). From Belle de Mai to Marseille!

Images of the all-new Mistral have been published on social media. Thus, we can see that the establishment previously managed by Roland (Michel Cordes, who died in May 2023) will be much more modern and fashionable.

Some Internet users even consider it similar to The Spoon of Tomorrow (one of the channel’s other French series starts here)…

Anyway, this is where the scenes inside the Mistral will be filmed. As for the scenes outside the bar and the famous square, the production of the series decided to invest in the village of Alauche, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, which is not far from Marseille. The mentioned information was spread by the mayor of the city, Lionel de Cala, on social networks and he also participated in the above-mentioned visit.

Mistral has transformed…

This explains it Post on Facebook :”The Place de l’Hôtel de Ville, in the heart of the village, will be the backdrop for all exterior shots and the ‘Bar de l’Hostellerie’ is named after the famous ‘Bar du mistral’!

It is the authenticity of our village square, with its town hall, church, fountain and shops, that has attracted the TF1 team, who will film around thirty days a year.

For the most curious and impatient fans, hear above what the future of “true-false” Place du Mistral Plus belle la vie should look like… one thing, in any case, is certain, despite these changes, the ingredients that have succeeded. The program should be there.

Stephan Hannon (Boher) recently told AlloCiné: “This soap opera is a brand. If it is taken, it is to preserve this social side, which is the DNA of Plus belle la vie. (…) In any case, we’ll see and it’s already great because we’re going back! Let’s move forward, be positive, see the glass as half full and go! I think we are all in this state of mind.
