The Grandfathers of Action are back for some action! 9 years after Expendables 3, the 4th opus of the saga enters the theaters with new blood. Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture return, surrounded by newcomers: 50 Cent, Megan Fox, Jacob Scipio, Levi Tran and Tony Jaa.

An excellent team of strong guys will have a lot to do in this new opus. A powerful enemy emerges, a certain Rahmat, played by Iko Uwais, star of The Raid. The latter wants to start World War III by seizing nuclear detonators.

If you are one of the first French viewers of Expendables 4, you will no doubt have noticed this name appearing at the end of the film, before the credits. The feature film is actually dedicated to a certain Michael J. duty. But who is this man?

He is simply the editor of Expendables 4 who died on November 21, 2022 at the age of 72. Dutt is a legend in his profession! The technician began his career in the late 70s, quickly specializing in the action genre. One of his first jobs was as production coordinator on Richard Donner’s Superman (1978).

Then he notably worked on the series Walker, Texas Ranger for television and edited the films Bloodsport with Van Damme, Stargate, Dead or Alive with DiCaprio and Sharon Stone, Open Range with Kevin Costner, London Has Fallen with Gerard Butler or Hitman & Bodyguard. 2 with Ryan Reynolds.

Expendables 4, dedicated to him, is his last Hollywood feature film as an editor. Two other small independent films arrive with his name in the credits: the drama The Killers and the horror film The Piper.
