Solar energy: Brazil is the 4th country in terms of number of jobs


With over 214,000 Brazilians working in the sector, companies in the sector have vacancies to fill in October




According to a survey conducted by the International Renewable Energy Agency (Irena), Brazil is the fourth country in the world that employs the most in the solar energy sector. According to the study, Brazilian photovoltaic production has more than 214 thousand professionals, second only to China, India and the United States.

Consolidated as the country’s second largest energy source, solar energy received more than R$33 billion in new investments in the first half of 2023, according to data from the Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association (Absolar). Thanks to the large amount allocated, the sector’s job market tends to remain strong even at the end of the year.

77Sol

The start 77Sol deals with connecting specialized professionals with consumers who wish to implement photovoltaic projects in their homes or businesses. Founded in 2019, the company will more than double its staff in 2023. With 64 employees on its team, Energy Tech has five vacancies available, all targeting the commercial sector. Opportunities include: Full Account Executive and Senior Account Executive.

Evolve energy

One of the energy transformation companies in Brazil and specialized in shared distributed generation, Evolve energy has consolidated itself in the national market by contributing to transforming the country’s energy matrix using clean, renewable and cheaper energy for the population.

Founded in 2020, in Minas Gerais, the company also operates in Ceará and Pernambuco and has more than 110 employees. Today the group has five opportunities, all to be completed personally by professionals residing in the state of Minas Gerais.

The open positions are: Financial Analyst (Treasury), Maintenance Planning and Control Analyst, Project Development Coordinator, External Salesperson in Belo Horizonte and External Salesperson in Congonhas.
