This fiction follows the tragic fate of the Usher family, who are at the head of a pharmaceutical empire. All of the tribe’s children died mysteriously. how and why That’s the mystery that the eight-episode series will reveal, somewhere between horror and comedy.
The ending of Episode 2, which marks the death of Prospero’s character, particularly surprised viewers, and we hear them. The series takes place in a night club. And while Prospero thinks about activating water jets on the crowd, acid rain falls on hundreds of guests.
The scene is long and the entire audience of guests turns into a sea of burnt bodies. Visually, the moment is impressive and terrifying. The image looks like it’s straight out of a Saw movie. Feedback on social networks caused a tone:

As this netizen points out, episode 2 of the series is a direct reference to another very famous story by Edgar Allan Poe. Mask of the Red DeathPublished in 1842. In the original text, there is no acid rain, but the setting remains the same: a huge party, separated into different rooms.
Prospero’s character locks himself in his house with his guests to escape the Red Death, which has many victims outside its walls. Thinking he is safe, a masked stranger – as in the series – invites himself to a party to kill Prospero. This is the Red Death itself.
