Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Monday, October 16, 2023 [SPOILERS]

Warning, the following paragraphs contain spoilers for the episode of Un Si Grand Soleil that airs Monday night on France 2! If you don’t want to understand anything, don’t read the following!

AUBERT is placed in custody

As part of the Buddha Blue trafficking investigation, Akim goes to the hospital to question Kevin Carbona’s wife. Unfortunately, Dr. Cresson refuses because his patient is unable to answer the questioning.

Later, Commissioner Becker informs Prosecutor Bernier and Judge Alfand that they have found a way to get Carbona to talk. Indeed, his wife was hospitalized due to a serious illness. So they want to offer him a deal. If Carbona agrees to give them the name of the ringleader, he could get a suspended sentence to follow his wife for the rest of his life. An idea that Bernier and Cécile have no choice but to accept.

So Captain Leon informed Carbona and Master Levar of this proposal. Since his companion’s time is limited, Carbona takes over. Without waiting, Captain Leon goes to Obert’s kindergarten and takes him to the police station.

Under interrogation, Obert admits that he knew Kevin in his youth, when he was associated with less famous people. However, he claims that he has not had contact with him for a long time and then swears that he has nothing to do with this drug trafficking. Captain Leon, in disbelief, arranges a showdown between Obert and Carbona. Obviously, Carbona claims that Aubert is at the head of the Buda Blue network in the Montpellier region.

Not far from there, Cecile returns home and informs Kristoff that they have caught the head of the Buddha Blue network. And suffice it to say, the vet hopes the trafficker will pay big. When he discovers that he is only risking 5 to 10 years of what he has done, Kristoff quickly becomes disillusioned.

Alex and Ludo meet Sylvain Durand

Jade and Ludo spent the night together after the wonderful declaration he had made the day before. So they wake up in each other’s arms more in love than ever. Although she is happy, Jade still fears that she will leave Noemia. In fact, he is afraid of losing her. Ludo then reminds him that he was the last one to leave. The young woman knows this, but still specifies that she had no choice. She then confides that she’s back for him, which makes her smile.

Later, Jade comes to work in a good mood. And there is something! If he reconciles with Ludo, his best friend also has a good chance of getting out of prison, because Sylvain Durand will be arrested.

In turn, Alex goes to the guest room and informs Julie that they were able to find Sylvain. And suffice it to say, the cop is happy to tell him that his girlfriend is actually a computer scientist. While Julie tries to make him realize that this man never mattered to her, Alex tries to figure out if it was worth ruining everything. Julie confirms no.

Later, Sylvain arrives at L. Cosmétiques, where Bilal greets him before waiting in Bertier’s office.

Not far from there, Ludo is at a farm with Noem. When she asks if he’s sleeping here tonight, the young man, feeling uncomfortable, states that he needs to talk to her. Unfortunately, his phone rings at the same time. It is Bilal who points out that Sylvain is there and who asks him to come back. So Ludo leaves Noémie’s company and makes her think that he has a big problem with moving.

Berthier is trying to figure out what Sylvain is doing here because they haven’t had any issues with the payroll software since the upgrade. Sylvain then explains to him that someone called Jean-Michel. Convinced that someone in the company has played a prank on him, Berthier apologizes and promises to investigate later.

Meanwhile, Ludo and Alex are waiting in the car in the parking lot of L. Cosmétiques. When he sees Sylvain leaving the company, Alex gets out of the car, then points a gun at his head to force him to follow. The policeman orders him to get into the trunk of the car before going on the road.

They stop a few minutes later in an abandoned area. After opening the gun safe, Alex summons Sylvain to tell him where the watches are. The latter swears that he did not touch them. When he learned that a complaint had been filed, he got scared and ran away. It must be said that Sylvain is married and did not want his wife to find out that he was unfaithful. Then, tearfully, he swears that he didn’t steal anything at all.
