Palmeiras will face Paraguay’s Olimpia this Saturday evening (14th), at 8.30pm (Brasilia time), at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo, in Bogotá, Colombia, in the quarterfinals of the women’s Libertadores. The duel will be broadcast on Sportv.

Verdão won the place after being first placed in group A, with 100% success. There were three matches with three wins, against: Atlético Nacional, Barcelona de Guayaquil and Caracas.

Midfielder Andressinha drew the duel against Olimpia, underlined the merits of the teams classified in the women’s Libertadores and declared that it will be a new direct elimination competition; watch.

Palmeiras are the current champions of the women’s Libertadores. In 2022, Verdão beat Boca Juniors 4 to 1. It was the first time the São Paulo team won the continental competition.
