Netflix: How to hide the history of watched movies and series

Why are you hiding your history on Netflix? There are several reasons: erase from your mind a movie or TV series that you hate; Do not suffer the shame of your loved ones; Go incognito or have no more recommendations for these titles. In this tutorial we will explain how to do it and don’t worry, the steps are easy to follow.

Go to your Netflix home page to get started. Click on your account icon in the upper right corner. A window opens: click the “Account” button. The “Profiles and Parental Controls” section displays a list of your various accounts. Click on the one that interests you. Next, click on “History” between “Transfer this profile” and “Ratings”.

Next step: Tag your movies and series. The list that appears in front of you combines all the content viewed in your account. They are arranged by date, from newest to oldest. Then click on the “Hide from history” icon on the right.

The Netflix platform then displays the following message:

“For 24 hours, it will no longer appear among the titles you have watched on the Netflix service. This title will no longer be used to recommend content to you unless you watch it again.”

Do not touch anything to make the content disappear forever. In 24 hours it will be gone. If you want to hide or clear the entire content list, scroll to the bottom and just click Hide All. This way your history will be completely cleared.
