According to David F. Sandberg, Shazam 2 is much larger in scale than the predecessor film, released in 2019
One of the releases of A.D in theaters in 2022, Shazam! Gods Fury promises to have a much larger scale than the first hero movie, released in 2019. twitter, David F. Sandbergdirector of both productions, commented how the new feature has much more action and interesting creatures.
Shazam! accompanies the teenage orphan Billy Batson (Asher Angel), who developed the ability to transform himself into an adult superhero, lived by Zachary Levi. In the movie, Billy fight and defeat the villain Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong) and the Seven deadly sinsas well as helping the foster siblings secure superpowers of their own.
Due to positive reception and good box office performance, Warner Bros. approved gave a sequel to the film a few days after the official release. Initially, Shazam! Gods Fury was scheduled to hit theaters in 2023, but was pushed forward to December 2022.
On Twitter, a fan asked Sandberg what audiences can expect from the sequel in terms of action and other elements. “It’s a MUCH bigger movie than the first. There’s so much, I can’t wait for people to see it,” wrote the filmmaker. “I hope they put a lot of that in the trailer. I don’t care about spoilers, I’m just looking forward to showing our creatures, action, etc.”

Shazam! 2 Will Subvert Expectations, Says Rachel Zegler
Shazam! Fury of the Gods will subvert expectations, according to Rachel Zegler (Love sublime love), actress who joined the cast of the sequel to play one of the villains of the protagonist. (The addiction)
