The Brazilian team should have news in the match against Uruguay, next Tuesday, at 9pm (Brasilia time), at the Centenário Stadium, for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. In training this Sunday, at the Peñarol stadium, coach Fernando Diniz illustrated the team with three changes. The information comes from the “ge” portal.
In addition to Danilo’s injury, starters Guilherme Arana and Richarlison did not train. Thus, Yan Couto, Carlos Augusto and Gabriel Jesus took their respective places.
The good news comes from Casemiro, who was absent from Saturday’s training due to pain in his right ankle. The experienced midfielder participated in the activities on the pitch and will therefore be among the 11 starters.
Mister Diniz tested the Brazilian team with the following formation: Ederson, Yan Couto, Marquinhos, Gabriel Magalhães and Carlos Augusto; Casemiro, Bruno Guimarães and Neymar; Rodrygo, Vini Jr and Gabriel Jesus.
If confirmed in the team that will face Uruguay, Carlos Augusto will make his debut for the Seleção. At 24, the player revealed by Corinthians was playing for Monza, Italy, and was recently signed by Inter.
On the other hand, Gabriel Jesus could resume his starting role, something that hasn’t happened since the third round of the World Cup in Qatar, when he started against Cameroon.
Defender Adryelson was present at this Sunday’s training, called to replace Nino, who had sprained his left knee in Saturday’s training.
Brazil returns to training this Monday. It will therefore be the last activity before the match against Uruguay, fourth round of the Qualifiers.
