Netflix releases mind-blowing trailer for Scott Pilgrim anime; I wait!

Netflix released the trailer for “Scott Pilgrim: The Series” – the anime graphic novel that became the film “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” in 2010 – this Sunday (15). Now you can have a clearer idea of ​​what to expect. And the series promises to be mind-blowing.

The series, a Netflix original, is based on the comic by Bryan Lee O’Malley, who wrote the screenplay for the production. The series will have eight episodes and will apparently follow the plot of the stylized romantic comedy directed by Edgar Wright (who is the executive producer of the project) in 2010.

The story follows Scott, an unmotivated musician and member of the rock band Sex Bom-omb, who falls in love with Ramona Flowers, starting a troubled relationship. That’s because Scott needs to battle the character’s seven problematic ex-boyfriends to win her over.

The anime features the same team of actors as the 2010 film voicing their respective characters.

In addition to Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who will voice the protagonists Scott Pilgrim and Ramona Flowers, the cast includes:

Additionally, “League of Evil Exes” brings back Satya Bhabha, Chris Evans, Brandon Routh, Jason Schwartzman and Mae Whitman to their respective roles in the film.

The soundtrack is produced by the band Anamanaguchi, who composed the original songs for the series.
