‘The fan support has been great’: Hayden Christensen is returning to Star Wars

Warning, spoilers. It is recommended that you watch Star Wars: The Ashoka Series before reading this article.

Offended during the prequels, this iconic character from the Star Wars saga is now returning and reclaiming a special place in fans’ hearts thanks to a live-action series on Disney+.

It must be said that he plays the iconic character of the Star Wars universe, namely Anakin Skywalker, who later becomes Darth Vader, one of the greatest villains of cinema. His comeback has been crowned with success and an outpouring of love from his fans.

Indeed, Hayden Christensen is now recognized in the Star Wars fan community, as evidenced by numerous posts and numerous videos on social networks.

Hayden Christensen’s message to Star Wars fans

The actor first returned to the role of Darth Vader – but also Anakin with the help of digital rejuvenation – in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, which marked the moving reunion of Hayden and Ewan McGregor.

While that series has had mixed success — it hasn’t even gotten a second season — it’s at least given Hayden Christensen a chance to reconnect with Star Wars fans and, if necessary, prove that he’s still just as good at wielding his lightsaber, especially since he has A build to swing between Anakin and Darth Vader.

But it was the Ahsoka series, centered on Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), that finally convinced Star Wars fans of Hayden Christensen’s beneficial return to the universe.

Appearing in 4 out of 8 episodes, the actor managed to evoke strong emotions in the fans, even when it was just a few seconds of appearance.

It’s especially Episode 5, titled “The Shadow Warrior” and directed by Dave Filoni, that has delighted fans as it celebrates the long-awaited reunion between Ahsoka and her former master Anakin Skywalker, with great highlights.

“The support I’ve felt from the fans has been truly amazing. It’s unbelievable that I’m at a loss for words. Their support means a lot to me, and it’s especially allowed me to come back to Star Wars and play. More about this character. It’s really special.”

If Star Wars: Ahsoka gets a second season, it wouldn’t be surprising if Lucasfilm and Disney+ once again called on Hayden Christensen for some flashbacks, or to continue the Jedi’s adventures, especially given the final moments of the film. The last episode. Either way, one thing’s for sure: fans want more.
