Petition demanded the participation of the actress as Vicência Santos, Brazilian Minister of Magic

“This is a manifesto of the will of all Brazilian fans of Harry Potterso that there are no inconveniences from actors of other nationalities playing Brazilians”said the description of the petition. “Here is a recommendation from a wonderful Brazilian actress, who worked on major national works such as The Auto da Compadecida, Central Brazil, Mother’s Sweet and who has already been nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress.”
Despite the insistence of fans, who managed to collect almost 100 thousand signatures before the petition reached Fernanda Montenegrothe actress kindly declined to participate before an invitation could even be made: “Thank you for your kindness, it’s up to me to let you know that I have a full schedule in 2020.
