Yariv Mozer and Israeli production company SIPUR work on documentary about Hamas attack on electronic music festival
The massacre orchestrated by Hamas at an electronic music festival will be the subject of a documentary. Israeli production company SIPUR is already working on the story and is counting on the help of the Tel Aviv-born director Yariv Mozerknown for The Devil’s Confession: The Lost Eichmann Tapes And Ben Gurion: Epilogue (2022).
Interviews with soldiers and journalists, as well as material produced by participants in the Supernova will be used to build the narrative of the film, which should be released worldwide next year.
I’ve seen things in my life. I went through wars, fought in wars and even filmed during a war. But nothing prepared me for the difficult images I saw of what was left of the massacre that took place in New. I see it as my duty, as a documentary filmmaker, to bring to the world the horrific stories of the survivors of this slaughter, young people whose only sin was their desire for music, and their passion for celebrating love, spirit and freedom. — Yariv Mozer
“We moved quickly to produce this documentary because we believe it is necessary to do everything in our power and shine a light on the greatest atrocity committed against our people since the Holocaust. Supernova it must be seen and understood in its entirety for them to truly know the meaning of the unspeakable crimes against humanity that occurred there. The world must not forget,” said the CEO of SIPUR.
