Jeopardy fans get no satisfaction from contestant who wildly mistakes Mick Jagger for a famous actor

Watch Danger! This can be a great way to hone your trivia skills and see where your intelligence stands relative to the talented contestants who are successful on the show. There is nothing like the superiority you feel when you guess a final danger! no one else had an answer , or when you dominate a category from the comfort of your living room. But there’s also some fun in watching candidates make wild guesses, and Danger! Fans experienced this in the June 13 episode, when a player confused Academy Award winner Michael Caine with Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger.

The category was “Knight after Knight” and contestant Mazin Omer answered the $ 400 question: “To honor his father, this star here has been ennobled with his birth name, so he’s Sir Maurice Micklewhite.” Though it comes with a photo of acclaimed actor Michael Caine, Omer mistook it for Mick Jagger. Current presenter Mayim Bialik – who received notes of the producer in tone of their answers: let go of the mistake with a simple “no”. Twitter fans, however, weren’t that nice and immediately brought their confusion to social media:

At 89, Michael Caine is 11 years older than the 78-year-old rocker, so at least Mazin Omer has remained in the right generation, contrary to what viewers were saying. two contestants disrespected Diana Ross assuming he was 95 years old. Numbers aside, it’s safe to assume this is the first time there’s been confusion, as the two don’t look alike at all. Danger! fans jumped on it:

To be fair, the Rolling Stones frontman was knighted in 2003, just three years after the honor was bestowed on Interstellar actor , so it fits the category, and Mick Jagger is such a cool name that no one can be blamed for thinking it might be a stage name for a less rock star name like Maurice Micklewhite. It all really comes down to Michael Caine’s photo, which left this viewer virtually speechless:

We must always remember that indeed competition Danger! it’s a lot more stressful than watching from home, and sometimes players have to guess that it can turn out to be more ridiculous than expected. All I can say is thank goodness there is no one tweeting about the bad guess I’m screaming at my screen! This fan agreed that Mazin Omer’s hypothesis doesn’t mean he’s no smarter than the average bear, but even the contestant would have to admit his response was pretty hilarious:

Season 38 is drawing to a close and with it may come the end of the co-hosting duties between Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik, who have agreed to sharing work during the current season , which ends on July 29th.
