‘One of the biggest challenges in Netflix history’: Casting this One Piece character was an unprecedented challenge for the platform

During the conference (Matt IGN), Netflix president Ted Sarandos addressed a recent announcement about rising subscription prices. The latter was also asked about various issues and in particular about one of the biggest challenges he had to face after leading the platform.

The live-action One Piece cast is among the most compelling aspects of the best-selling manga adaptation of all time. Inaki Godoi is the only actor in the series who had the chance to meet Eiichiro Oda in person, along with Emily Rudd (Nami). Very invested in the role, the latter prepares to find Luffy’s straw hat on the set of the second season!
