The global actor will voice Kraven, one of the main villains in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
One of the most anticipated games of the year, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is now available on PlayStation 5 and has a strong reinforcement for the cast of Brazilian voice actors. Rodrigo Lombardian actor known for his appearances in the soap operas Salve Jorge, Caminhos das Indias and Verdades Secretas, will voice the villain Kraven, one of Peter Parker and Miles Morales’ enemies in the game.
Lombardi has been passionate about games since he was a child and says that over the years his passion has only increased. “I’m a storyteller and games fascinate me just because of the way the stories are told, the camera, the lighting, the way the visual effects are enhanced and the speed at which this industry evolves”Comments.
Besides being a lover of electronic games, the actor is also a veteran in the world of dubbing. He began attending dubbing studios in the early 1990s and participated in famous animations such as Disney’s ‘Zootropolis’ and ‘The Princess and the Frog’. Now he faces a big challenge in games too.
“I’ve always wanted to play a relevant character in this universe and Kraven was a gift to me”, comments Rodrigo, who was also recently announced as a member of the PlayStation influencer team in Brazil. “I learned a lot in the process. Dubbing is nothing more than an exchange where you get an incredible original work ready and give it your best shot. I’m really looking forward to seeing the result.”He adds.
In addition to Rodrigo Lombardi, the Brazilian voice acting team is mainly composed of experienced professionals known in games, films and cartoons. Many of them were part of the voice team of Marvel’s Spider-Man in 2018. The cast includes Diego Marques (Peter Parker), Ítalo Luiz (Miles Morales), Rafael Rheda (Harry Osborn), Rebeca Zadra (MJ Watson) and Francisco Junior . (Venom), among others.
