Brief romance between the two artists happened about a year after Britney Spears broke up with Justin Timberlake
Approximately a year after finishing with Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears had a brief romance with Colin Farrellactor in films such as Alexander (2004), The Banshees of Inisherin (2022), Batman (2022) and In Bruges (2008). Now, the singer recalled a “passionate” meeting with the artist.
Spears recalled the story in the memoir The Woman in Me. A Pop princess he knew Farrell when he filmed SWAT – Special Command, released on August 8, 2003 in the United States. Regarding their relationship, the singer commented how they had “a two-week fight.”
“Fight is the only word for it – we were on top of each other, fighting so passionately it was as if we were in a street fight,” he wrote (via People). Next, the artist revealed how she tried to avoid becoming “too attached” to Colin Farrell when I still had feelings for Justin Timberlake.
“As I did before, when I felt very attached to a man, I tried my best to convince myself that it wasn’t a big deal, that we were just having fun, that in this case I was vulnerable because I hadn’t gotten over it yet. Justin,” he stated.
