Under the crime novel umbrella she wrote spy novels, proto-slasher novels, serial killer hunts, gothic romances, psychological character studies , glamorous travelogues… When I did ‘Daggers…’, that’s what got me excited about the prospect of doing more mysteries with Daniel as Benoit Blanc: emulating Christie and making each movie feel like a whole new book , with its own tone, ambition, raison d’être… and (blah!) title.

Daniel Craig is the only actor from the previous film who will repeat in this second installment as detective Benoit Blanc.
