Ludmilla will make a special appearance at the Interlagos Grand Prix on November 5. The singer will have the task of singing the national anthem before departure. The Brazilian GP will be the twentieth stage of the Formula 1 season.
The information was disseminated on the official profile of the event. In the press release, the organization praises the great results that the singer has achieved in her career. Ludmilla was the first black artist in Latin America to reach 3 billion streams on Spotify.
Additionally, Lud has gained recognition for his involvement in social causes. The artist partnered with Hemorio to distribute tickets for the show of his project “Numanice” to anyone who came to the collection center to donate blood. The movement mobilized the entire city of Rio de Janeiro, causing kilometre-long queues for donations to Hemorio. The institute set a new record for daily donations, reaching 2,000 bags donated.
Ludmilla’s ability to sing the national anthem at the GP places her in the select group of artists who have had this honor. Names such as Ivete Sangalo, Daniela Mercury, Fafá de Belém and Margareth Menezes have already participated.
