It’s worth mentioning that, in August, Twitch also changed its rules on releasing streaming content to other channels. The update made it possible to share the live stream on applications such as TikTok and Instagram.
According to the stream, “any service” is now in play for cross-sharing. The only exception appears to be channels that have signed exclusive contracts with Twitch.
Twitch updates
In order not to fall behind its competitors, Twitch has also recently implemented the Stories function, a tool already known from various apps such as Instagram, WhatsApp and many others.
The feature allows streamers to connect directly with their community through short posts that expire within 48 hours. Access to eligible users will be rolled out gradually and will continue to roll out as streamers meet the minimum requirements to use the tool.
