Did you enjoy them in a difficult year? Jonathan Cohen and Pio Marmai will be in a new comedy that promises to be very crazy

Five films and three series were released for one between 2021 and 2023. Twelve feature films and two series for the second. To say that Jonathan Cohen and Pio Marmai have been prolific over the past two years is an understatement. But they did not respond to each other in any of these projects.

It was never like that, in their careers, until Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache brought them together for A Difficult Year, their new feature film, which was released on Wednesday, October 18 in our cinemas. A big first for Jonathan Cohen, who’s always been a no-brainer with Intouchables directors. and a reunion with Pio Marmai, seen in two seasons of Therapy.

But this won’t be the last time the two actors will be in the credits of the same project, as they will be seen next year in Quentin Dupuy’s new film Davaaaaal!.

Originally scheduled for a November 1 release, the feature has been pushed back to 2024 to make room for Yannick, a surprise opus announced a month before its release that has become its author’s biggest hit to date with nearly 435,000 admissions.

Pio Marmai was cast in this film and we will find him in Daaaaali!, where he portrays a famous artist. Like Jonathan Cohen. and Edward Baer. and Didier Fleming. Because the feature film tells the story of interviews between a journalist making a documentary (Anais Demostier) and the Pope of Surrealism. He’s played by a different actor every time, as if I’m not there with Bob Dylan.

Jonathan Cohen “Daaaaal!” (hence, in Dali)

Unless there’s a scene that brings together all versions of Salvador Dali, Jonathan Cohen, and Pio Marmai, why not see them opposite each other in Quentin Dupuy’s movie, which promises to be obviously crazy but doesn’t yet have a release date. But who knows if the two actors will not meet after this?

For example, in the sequel to The Flame and the Flambeau, is season 3 clearly being written? Or with another filmmaker who wants to use their alchemy, highlighted by Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache. Bets are open.
