The battery of the Moto G84 5G is placed in the medium consumption range of the category thanks to the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset
OR Motorola Moto G84 5G it is an intermediate mobile phone equipped with a Snapdragon 695 5G processor which, despite not being that powerful, stands out for its good energy efficiency. This means that the mobile performed relatively well in our battery test, being average for the segment.
Moto G84 battery in everyday life
The Moto G84 5G has a 5,000 mAh battery that promises up to 16 hours of video playback on Youtube and internet browsing or up to 18 hours of uninterrupted social media. In our standard consumption test, which simulates some everyday activities, this was exactly the average achieved by the device.
Our test scenario includes: running social media applications, instant messaging and gaming, browsing the Internet and playing videos on YouTube. The test time lasts, on average, 5 hours with the mobile phone connected only to Wi-Fi and with automatic screen brightness.
At the end of the test we obtained a discharge result of 31%, which in practice would translate into approximately 19 hours of total use. The result was very similar to what was promised by Motorola.
As a result, the battery life of the Motorola Moto G84 5G was average for the intermediate category: that A54 Galaxy 5G, for example, consumed 28% in the same scenario, while PocoX5 it downloaded only 25%.

It is worth noting that the battery life of the device should differ negatively depending on some factors, such as network signal, screen brightness and ambient temperature. Our testing was performed in an indoor environment with controlled lighting and no operator chip installed.
Charging the Moto G84 is fast
The Moto G84 5G features 33W Turbo Power technology, which provides fast charging. From 10% to 100%, the Motorola cell phone took about 1 hour and 30 minutes, faster than models like the Galaxy A54 5G.
However, among intermediaries, mobile does not offer the shortest charging time – this is where this title belongs Realme 11 5G and its 67W SuperVooc Charge technology, which fills half the charge in just 20 minutes.
Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that the Moto G84 doesn’t support wireless charging, which is to be expected considering its positioning in Motorola’s portfolio.
